What do you do if someone in your family is in need of emotional help yet they refuse to get the help they need?
This too common situation often creates insurmountable stress for all involved.
There is however now great hope that appropriate help can reach these individuals. In what follows I will relate the story of a client I worked with whose 26 year old daughter was in trouble and also refusing help.
The daughter of my client had essentially abandoned two young children who were taken into care by the local Children's Aid Society, had become involved with drugs and was living with a drug pusher. The daughter had also become completely estranged from her mother, my client.
My client was working with me to help resolve numerous traumatic incidents she herself had sustained throughout her life.
I helped her quickly resolve all her trauma with a new modality called the Mind Resonance Process(TM) (MRP) that I have written extensively about in this ezine.
As she became more able to function and feel better she began to voice her concerns about her daughter and how helpless she felt about her situation.
As her daughter was reluctant to get any help I actually never saw her, nor did any other therapist during the time I worked with my client.
I suggested to my client that there was something we could do to give her daughter some support.
The nature of this support is outlined in a seminal article I wrote in January 2005 in the Journal of Healing And Caring whose editor is Dr. Daniel Benor called "A Shared Memory Case Study: The Mind Resonance Process™ & Evidence For Non-Local Consciousness", Volume 4, No. 1.
A synopsis of this article is also presented in this ezine under the title "Some Evidence of How We Are Spiritually Connected".
This case study basically revealed that one member of a family could help heal another member at a distance even if the latter was a reluctant partner.
Given this experience with MRP I began helping my client achieve a state of empowerment that allowed her to send what I call "loving energy intention" to her daughter for a period of about 6 months, one every week for about 30 minutes.
During this time she began to notice remarkable and unexplained changes occurring in her daughter's behavior.
I document the following:
Her daughter left her self destructive relationship, stopped using drugs, reconnected with her children, started to take care of them, reconnected with her mother (my client) in a positive and respectful manner and began to look for a job to help support herself and her children.
Much to my client's surprise her relationship with her daughter changed completely.
I have since used MRP to effect other similar dramatic and powerful changes in the lives of other families.
MRP reveals how family members can affect each other either negatively or positively at a distance simply through the thought and memory patterns that they carry within and between themselves.
In my view MRP will usher in a new era of family healing that has never been thought possible.
